Born from a love of the six-yard wonder
Like so many families in Hyderabad, ours measures its milestones in sarees — the Kanjeevaram from a wedding, the soft cotton for a pooja, the shimmering silk kept for the one big day of the year. Yet time and again we watched loved ones struggle with uneven pleats and a stubborn pallu, missing the joy of the moment.
Pleats & Drapes grew out of that frustration. What started as helping friends pleat and drape before functions became a full-fledged studio, offering saree pre-pleating, professional draping and careful box folding to women across the city.
Today, brides, working women and grandmothers alike trust us to make their sarees behave — beautifully, and on time.
